Dewhit was founded in 1984 by Charles Whitner after pursuing his vision of providing superior janitorial services to southeastern businesses. As a full-service janitorial company, Dewhit is certified by the Carolinas Minority Suppliers Development Council, Inc. as a Minority Business Enterprise.
Since our founding, Dewhit has enjoyed stable sustainable growth, currently cleaning some of the most prestigious businesses in the Southeast. Quality of service has always been our primary goal, which is why we've remained small enough to offer a degree of customer service not found with larger, corporate companies. By remaining privately-owned, we don't have the corporate restraints nor the reporting burdens normally associated with corporate culture.
