DeWhit, Inc. invests in I.C.E. Certification for North Carolina Management Team

04/05/2012 - DeWhit, Inc., a commercial janitorial service company and 2010 Carolinas Minority Supplier of the Year, has recently invested in the ISSA CIMS Expert (I.C.E.) training program, a program which encourages excellence in management structure. The entire management and supervisory team of DeWhit, Inc., including Operations Manager Vernon Hughes, Vice President of Research and Development Jabari Whitner, ISO Specialist William “Dub” Karriker, Victor Orellana, Charles Epps, Lewis Brooks, Nelson Gonzalez, William Parker, Kevin Parker, Abel Renteria, and Loralee Talbott have received ISSA CIMS/CIMS-GB Expert certifications. This benchmark reflects the continuous improvement philosophy of DeWhit, Inc., which stems from its owner and founder Charles Whitner. DeWhit, Inc. has been serving the Carolinas and the southeastern United States for almost 30 years.

DeWhit Recognizes Safety Performance and Enhances Overall Safety Program

North Carolina project managers were recognized at a company outing for their project’s safety performance. During the outing, a new safety pamphlet was revealed which will enhance the overall safety program; providing supplemental training on Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) and general and emergency safety preparedness.
