OWNER - PRESIDENT
Our President, Charles Epps, has been a leader in the janitorial field for over 25 years. With a broad range of experience in operations, supervision, and management Charles has the knowledge and background necessary to address the specialized needs of each of our clients. In addition to this wealth of experience, Charles maintains certifications in carpet cleaning, carpet care, carpet restoration, water damage remediation, and fire and smoke restoration. Whatever situation arises, our clients have the assurance that the DeWhit Company President is not only personally available, but that he has the expertise to successfully direct the DeWhit team of employees, supervision, and management to fulfill our clients’ best interest.
Pam Karriker brings a wealth of financial and governmental experience to the DeWhit team. A former banker and government official, Pam provides guidance and oversight in the administration of regulatory, compliance, and human relations while promoting the financial health of the company. Pam is dedicated to meeting all of the standards and requirements necessary to ensure and enhance the best interests of our clients, employees, businesses and the communities that we serve.
William J. (Dub) Karriker has been in business management for over 25 years specializing in contract facility maintenance and operations with special emphasis in governmental and regulatory compliance. In addition to overseeing the operational management staff, Dub also serves as DeWhit's ISO 9001:2015 documentation specialist and is our internal auditor. Dub directs DeWhit staff and management in business development, contracts, management, safety, quality, sales, marketing, training, purchasing, budgeting, planning, and scheduling.

Victoria Childress is the South Carolina Upstate Accounts Manager based in Greenville, SC. Victoria has been in management roles for 12 years leading and developing strong teams. Her background is in cleaning and inspecting hospitals, DHEC buildings, and travel centers. She specializes in customer service, conducting training, audits, and managing for safety. Victoria has a very committed “can do” attitude.
Antonio Gray began his career with DeWhit in 2003 and has served in many positions within the company. Today he oversees several of our Durham/RTP area accounts. Antonio has extensive experience with corporate headquarters, university, public administration, and technical cleaning operations in high-profile environments. His technical specialties include expertise in floor care, carpet cleaning, and restoration.
Aaron Holmes serves the SC Lowcountry managing operations from our office in the Greater Charleston area. Aaron came to DeWhit in 2018 and, though fairly new to the company, he brings over 15 years of leadership experience in business and the United States Marine Corps. Aaron’s background in various fields provides him with a well-rounded knowledge base that is a great asset to the company. His strengths are attention to detail and quality, building and managing competent organizations, and execution of safety excellence. Aaron never leaves home without a positive attitude, a smile on his face, and the desire to do whatever it takes to get the job done for our clients!

Eddie McVey has more than 15 years of experience in facilities management. His expertise includes a wide scope of industries and organizations including telecommunications, IT, data centers, pharmaceutical, medical, logistics, technology, the public sector, and higher education. In addition to contract management Eddie’s areas of focus are safety management and business development.
Sharon Rogers joined DeWhit in December 2019. With 20+ years of bookkeeping and office administration, Sharon is responsible for the financial affairs of the company. Outside of work Sharon is dedicated to her family and her church. She enjoys the outdoors and is a fan of Duke athletics.

Over the years we've corporately supported organizations like StepUp Durham, Project Build, Urban League of the Upstate, Meals on Wheels, The University of NC at Chapel Hill, North Carolina Central University, NCCU Athletics, BMW Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society, Mauldin Sports Center, the Greater Durham Black Chamber of Commerce, and United Way African American Leadership.
We've donated pallets of supplies and provided logistical support for people harmed by Hurricanes Matthew, Harvey, Irma, Maria, Florence, & Michael in partnership with the Food Bank of Eastern & Central NC.
Each of our owners is personally dedicated to serving and benefiting the communities where they live and where DeWhit operates. They are involved in giving financial, personal time, material support and leadership for churches, schools, non-profits, charities, and community service organizations. Each of them makes the time to serve as a mentor for children, youth, individuals, and families in need of support and assistance. By their example they encourage the entire DeWhit team to be actively involved in their community through personal giving and acts of service.
